Questions shops actually ask

Do I have to pick a plan right away?
No. Sign up with just your email and store name — no card. You get 5 bonus fixes immediately, and the plan picker only appears after you try your 6th fix. Until then, there's nothing to decide.
What counts as a "fix"?
A fix is an action SAGE auto-applies from your digest after you approve it — things like "rewrite this product's alt-text," "publish this corrected SEO title," "push this meta description." Clicking around in the dashboard, reading the digest, or editing a draft doesn't burn a fix. Only a confirmed, applied change does.
Do I lose my connected accounts on the free plan?
No. Shopify, Mailchimp, your socials — whatever launch-ready provider you connected stays connected on free-forever. We keep reading data so your digest is still grounded in your real shop. The only thing the free plan can't do is write to those platforms (beyond your 1 fix per week).
Is my customer list mine?
Yes. CSV import and export work in both directions on every plan. If you cancel, you walk out with your list. Account deletion is honored — we run Meta's data-deletion flow and purge on request. See Export or delete your data.
What happens when my 14-day Pro trial ends?
We email you at T-3 days, T-1 day, and on the last day. If your card is on file and you haven't canceled, the first $25 charge runs and you keep full Pro. If you cancel before the trial ends, you're never charged and your shop drops to the free-forever plan — nothing gets deleted, connections stay linked, 1 fix per week begins.
Can I really cancel anytime?
Yes. Open your dashboard, click Manage billing, and cancel in one click through Stripe's portal. Your subscription stays active through the end of the period you already paid for, then drops to the free-forever plan. No prorated refunds, but also no penalty and no reactivation fee if you come back.
Does the price go up as my shop grows?
No. $25/mo is flat per shop, regardless of traffic, product count, email list size, or number of connected channels. Early subscribers keep this core SAGE rate even if public pricing changes later. If you open a second location and want a separate SAGE instance for it, that's a separate $25/mo — otherwise one account covers your work.
How do I pay? Who handles billing?
Stripe handles checkout, the billing portal, and every recurring charge. We never see your card number. You can swap cards, update your billing email, or cancel from the portal anytime.
What if I don't run a bookstore, comic shop, record store, thrift shop, or craft shop?
SAGE is built around those five verticals today — the digest, event calendars, and campaign templates are tuned to them. If you run a different kind of indie shop, it'll still work, but some of the grounded prompts will fall back to generic retail. Tell us what you run — we add verticals based on demand.
Do you have a referral program?
